I love the old elevator in our building.
The control panel is the original--in all of its vintage goodness.
I always thought it was black.
Ms. Dorothy, our neighbor, remembers it as shiny.
She convinced the new superintendent to polish it.
Wow! Night and day.
I want to reach out and run my fingers over it. Seems like everything used to be more tactile. Please thank your super for me.

ReplyDeleteMade a point to really look at the panel in my work elevator and no where near as interesting and definitely not shiny.
